Why did Keppel embark on this initiative with ACDO?

Keppel has always been a strong supporter of the arts and continues to play its part in enriching and nurturing the lives of the community.

A large segment of Singaporeans are interested in attending arts performances but may be discouraged by the ticket cost. Keppel decided to support this innovative scheme which helps make tickets more affordable and the arts more accessible.

Who does the scheme benefit?

Keppel Nights will benefit those without the financial means to enjoy the arts at full price, those who are first-time arts goers, the young and the old. Keppel hopes to help enrich the lives of Singaporeans and in the process, cultivate audiences for the arts.

Who administers the Keppel Nights scheme?

The Arts and Culture Development Office (ACDO) is the administrator of the Keppel Nights scheme on the behalf of Keppel Corporation.

How many shows benefit from the scheme?

Since the start of the Keppel Nights scheme in August 2008, over 150 shows have benefitted from Keppel Nights with over 12,500 subsidised tickets sold. Shows are offered on most weekends and some weekdays throughout the year.

What are the types of shows selected under the scheme?

The Keppel Nights scheme offers a wide spectrum of shows including music, dance, theatre, visual arts and museum exhibitions.

How do I know which shows offer half-price tickets under the Scheme?

Besides a listing of the shows here on the Keppel Nights website, the publicity materials of selected shows will feature the Keppel Nights logo.

Why is this subsidy applicable only on the lower price tier tickets?

Keppel Nights aims to make the arts more accessible to a wide audience, especially those without the financial means to enjoy the arts. Keppel hopes to engage and encourage this group to cultivate their appreciation of the arts.

How many tickets can I buy?

• If you are using the unique Keppel Nights password obtained from our website, you can purchase up to four subsidised tickets directly from the ticketing agent.
• If you are an Arts Kaki, you can purchase four to ten tickets for your beneficiaries.
• If you are using the MadAboutArts card, you can purchase any number of tickets allowed by the ticketing agent at 10% discount.

Can my school claim cost of purchasing the Keppel Nights half-priced tickets from the Tote Board Arts Grant?

No.

Can I enjoy other discounts and promotions on top of the Keppel Nights subsidy?

No.
